About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive mainstream primary school in the L3 area of Liverpool. The successful candidate will inspire and nurture children in Years 1 and 2 (ages 5-7), ensuring they achieve their full potential in a safe, engaging, and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the latest National Curriculum standards.
  • Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Plan and assess lessons to meet the individual needs of all learners, including those with SEND or EAL.
  • Promote positive behavior management and build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Qualifications Required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in education or a relevant subject area.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally in KS1.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and phonics programs such as Letters and Sounds or Read Write Inc.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply).
