KS1 Teacher
Milk Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to support one of our partner schools in Liverpool (L13) on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is creative, adaptable and keen to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
We would like to encourage nurturing, caring and highly motivated Teachers and ECTs to apply for this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Support children’s emotional and social development, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess and improve teaching and learning
- Deliver small group Phonics sessions
- Collaborate with 1:1 TAs in the class supporting children with SEN
- Participate in school events and contribute to the overall ethos of the school
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Has recent experience (in the last 5 years) teaching or on placement
- Has a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices
- Demonstrates a passion for working with young children and fostering a love for learning
- Is an excellent communicator, both with pupils and staff
