Hays Education is seeking supply and long-term teachers to join our team in Sefton and the surrounding areas. We offer a variety of roles, including day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and flexible supply teaching positions.

Your new roleAt Hays Education, we collaborate with an extensive network of schools and teachers to fill exciting and exclusive roles in Sefton and the surrounding areas. We provide a wide range of staffing solutions to schools, including day-to-day supply teachers, long-term cover, and permanent roles. As a supply teacher with Hays, you will receive all the necessary information to ensure you are comfortable in your position, along with regular after-care check-ins, ongoing support from experienced consultants, and continued growth and development opportunities.What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • In-class teaching experience within the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check
  • Availability to receive calls or texts at 7am for same-day supply needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create an inclusive environmen
