What Theyre Looking For:

  • Engagement Skills: A knack for engaging students and supporting their aspirations with innovative teaching approaches.
  • Emotional Support: A genuine passion for making a positive impact on students' lives and providing emotional guidance.
  • Qualifications: You should hold QTS/QTLS, with strong Maths and English skills. They expect excellent IT proficiency and the ability to teach a variety of subjects alongside a core subject (Maths, English, or Science).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting, particularly at the secondary level, and a willingness to teach GCSE-level students.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with alternative provision and working with students with special educational needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Effective communication with both students and staff.
  • Promotion of Values: Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, well-being, and British values.
  • Time Management: Efficient time management for lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
