Year 2 Teacher:

Are you able to differentiate your teaching to create engaging yet challenging lessons that are pitched just at the right level for each individual?

We are looking for a Year 2 Primary Teacher for a long-term position beginning in January 2025. This Primary Teacher position requires 5 full days of work every week, Monday through to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. Whether you are new to teaching or an experienced teacher, this Primary Teacher role may be ideal you.

Non-negotiables:

  • The ability to deliver the National Curriculum across KS1.
  • To develop positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Provide a safe environment for the pupils, enabling growth in social and learning development
  • Experienced and ECT's able to apply.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
  • Experience of managing behaviour and supporting children with SEN
  • Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
