We are currently working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Tuebrook, who are looking to appoint a committed and passionate teacher to join their team on a long-term and full-time basis.

  • Salary: £120 - £223.62 per day

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, EAL, and high ability learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve.
  • Use a range of interactive and creative teaching strategies to enhance learning and retention.
  • Assess pupil progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Track attainment and identify gaps in learning, providing targeted support and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, reporting to parents, carers, and senior leaders as required.

Person specification:

  • QTS is essential.
  • Experience working in KS1.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds), and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a positive approach to behaviour management.
  • High standards of professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality.
