Your new companyAn excellent school in Maghull are working with Hays Education in order to find a Year 6 teacher to join their KS2 team for after the Easter holiday until the end of term. They are a small primary school at the heart of Maghull with an excellent reputation. Your new roleAs a Year 6 teacher, you will take on the responsibilities of a full-time class teacher. You will need to plan, prepare, and deliver exciting lessons, whilst assessing your pupil's progress. This role will involve supporting the class with their SATs. However, as the role commences after the Easter holiday, all of the teaching for the SATs will have been completed. Once the SATs are completing you will continue to support the class with transitioning to secondary school and end of year celebrations. Due to the requirements of this role, you will have close support from the SLT and extra PPA time. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for the role, you must:

  • Have UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have experience teaching KS2 - ideally SATs and Y6 transitions
  • ECTs will be considered for this role.
