Year 6 Teacher

Milk Education are seeking a purpose-driven, ambitious Year 6 Teacher to join a Primary School in the L7 area of Liverpool, starting in January 2025!

You’ll be joining an amazing school, focused on inclusivity and child development. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 6 pupils, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS2 pupils
  • Conduct small group SATs interventions
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ understanding and enjoyment of learning
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Year 6
  • Experience with the SATs curriculum
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
