Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Role and Responsibilities: As a HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our KS2 classes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Leading small group activities and interventions to boost student learning
  • Implementing strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Supporting the development and well-being of all students in your care
  • Contributing to the overall ethos and success of the school

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within KS2 is highly desirable
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to maintaining discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working with young children and helping them achieve their best
