Are you an experienced and flexible Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school environment?

We are currently seeking a dedicated General Primary TA to join a dynamic school team in Knowsley. This full-time role involves working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, as well as providing some 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support across KS1 and KS2, adapting to the needs of different age groups
  • Offer tailored 1:1 SEN support, helping pupils stay engaged and reach learning milestones
  • Assist class teachers with lesson delivery, resource preparation, and classroom organisation
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience in a UK school setting is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
