MEP Project Manager (Clean Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Electrical, DATA & HVAC)

I am currently recruiting a MEP / Utilities Project Manager for a 20 month contract for a major manufacturing organisation spending over £50m in a factory refurbishment. As part of this, there will be a redesign and upgrade of the MEP / Site Services for a large factory in the Northwest. 

The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Several feasibility and redesign of all Utilites / Site Services. This will include :
    • Electrical (LV)
    • Water (Celan and Waste)
    • Steam
    • Compressed Air
    • Data
  • The will also be responsible for end to end project management of the design, procurement, installation, commissioning of these service. Which are are in a live environment, so there will be a element of re-routing and zoning whilst the work is done in phases. 
  • As the PM you will be managing cost control, budget and project management meetings with key stake holders and ensuring all parties are kept abreast of any major developments and ensure a successful completion of the scope of works. 

The successful candidate will have

  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Experience in feasibility studies in the multi pound value.
  • Subject Matter expert in utilities used within a food, beverage, fmcg or pharmaceutical environment including (Clean Water, Waste Water, Effluent Treatment, Steam, Compressed Air and HVAC)
  • Experience in Food, Beverage of pharmaceutical industry.
  • HND, BTECH or Degree in relevant engineering qualification.
