Our client is currently seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team in the HTP sector. This position offers a hybrid work model and involves managing highway and construction projects autonomously while overseeing team members. The Senior Project Manager will support day-to-day project operations, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and manage all aspects of projects throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the planning and execution of entire projects
- Presenting to the Project Board or Senior Management Team
- Identifying risks, issues, opportunities, and variances in project plans
- Gathering metrics and implementing changes to keep projects on track and within budget
- Resolving complex issues and presenting effective solutions
- Managing team members and promoting a collaborative work environment
- Compiling reports and coordinating across teams
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities and building strong client relationships
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway and construction project management
- High level of project management expertise and autonomy
- Strong business development skills, including contributing to project proposals and tender opportunities
- Ability to oversee team members and support project delivery requirements
- Proficiency in presenting to senior management and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Potential security clearance, subject to UKSV vetting
