About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Psychologist to join our client's highly regarded, privately owned service in the North West of England. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by building strong relationships with both schools and children, offering personalized support that differs from traditional local authority work.

This is a permanent position, available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible working options. You'll have the freedom to plan your school visits over 2-3 days and complete administrative tasks from home. Our client does not have a central office, but the team regularly meets for coffee and catch-ups, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with schools to deliver high-quality psychological services, supporting the educational and emotional development of children and young people.
  • Build long-term relationships with schools, children, and their families, offering tailored support based on their needs.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to two Assistant Educational Psychologists on the team, fostering their professional development.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions, providing expert advice to teachers, parents, and school staff.
  • Collaborate with schools to develop strategies that enhance the learning environment and improve student outcomes.
