Psychologuy Graduate Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for Psychology Graduates with a passion for working with children to support our SEND schools in Liverpool and Sefton.

Within this role, you will support children with a range of additional needs, including:

  • ASD
  • ADHD
  • Complex Needs
  • Physical/Hearing/Visual Impairments
  • PMLD
  • Down Syndrome
  • Social and Emotional Mental Health

This is a highly rewarding role where you will be making a significant impact to the lives of children with additional needs. You will work on a 1:1 or small group basis with students who need identified support both socially and academically.

What are we looking for?

  • Hold a bachelors degree in Psychology or an associated subject.
  • Experience/knowledge of different types of SEND
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
  • Have 2 satisfactory references (university references will be accepted)
  • Have a passion for supporting children with SEND - you will need to be reliable, punctual and consistent.
