Psychology Graduates - Teaching Assistant Roles in SEND Schools - Liverpool

Are you a recent Psychology graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Psychology Graduates to join our team as Teaching Assistants in SEND schools across Liverpool.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with children who have a variety of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in their learning and development, providing tailored assistance based on individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with behaviour management and promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an effective support network for the children.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, is desirable but not essential.
