Job responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and Speech and Language difficulties.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored interventions to promote children's academic and emotional progress.
  • Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster social skills development among pupils.

What We're Looking For

  • A Psychology graduate with a genuine passion for child development and education.
  • Knowledge of SEN and experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Proactive, patient, and adaptable, with a commitment to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities.
