Temporary Procurement Administrator

  • Hourly Rate: £13ph plus holiday – please note this is weekly pay.
  • Location: Bootle
  • Job Type: Temporary – ongoing with a potential to become permanent.

We are seeking an Administrator to join a procurement team (a team of 4) on a temporary basis due to volume of work. Our client are a large organisation and do require this role to be fully office based

Hours of work are – 9am-5pm (37.5hpw)

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide full administration support to the team.
  • Raising purchasing requisitions and providing PO numbers.
  • Matching PO numbers. Keeping records of PO’s.
  • Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders, acting as a point of contact to gather necessary information and support procurement activities.
  • Assisting ither departments and workers with queries and updates as required.
  • Volume work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administration experience and someone who has worked in a fast paced environment dealing with volume work.
  • Any experience within procurement, dealing with PO numbers.
  • Strong IT skills, any experience using SAP, Mainsaver or any other procurement system would be an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently with repetitive processes and think creatively when needed.
  • Strong team player with a good work ethic and positive attitude.
