Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our commercial team with the financial and contractual aspects of our projects.

You will gain hands-on experience working alongside senior professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender documents.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and measure work completed.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting applications for payment.
  • Support in managing subcontractor accounts and payments.
  • Analyse project risks and suggest cost-saving strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and project costs.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a quantity surveying or commercial role within the construction industry
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a drive to develop a successful career in quantity surveying.
