Our client, a leading fit-out contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool, working on exciting retail fit-out and roll-out fast-track projects. If you have a strong background in managing cost control and delivering retail programmes, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of high-profile retail fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the cost of retail fit-out and roll-out projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and agree project budgets, cost plans, and tender documents.
- Assess and manage project risks, ensuring projects are completed within budget and to schedule.
- Oversee subcontractor accounts and valuations.
- Provide detailed cost reporting to senior management and clients.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within retail fit-out and roll-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience with fast-track fit-out delivery methods is highly desirable.
