Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work on exciting mechanical engineering projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, submit, and manage accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects
  • Oversee all aspects of cost management throughout project lifecycles
  • Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, and final accounts
  • Conduct risk assessments, value management, and cost control
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Provide detailed reports on project costs, forecasts, and budgets
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with contractual requirements
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure cost-effective project delivery


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, ideally within building services or engineering sectors
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installations
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC, JCT, and other relevant forms of contract
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred)
