Your new role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of a high-rise residential project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale developments with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of the project's financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Preparing and managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.

  • Conducting risk analysis and implementing cost-saving strategies where possible.

  • Managing variations and change control processes.

  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.

  • Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure financial and operational efficiency.

  • Monitoring project cash flow and profitability.

  • Preparing detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the high-rise residential sector.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
