Our client, a leading company in the roofing industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Specializing in high-quality roofing solutions for both commercial and residential projects, our client is looking for a professional who is committed to managing costs effectively and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of roofing projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for roofing works.
- Conduct site measurements, tendering processes, and procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Track project progress, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to budgets and deadlines.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide strategic advice on cost management and value engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the roofing/cladding/facades or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and project processes.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
- Proficient with MS Office and relevant industry-specific software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications (Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related field).
