Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the project delivery team. You will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Planning and Estimation: Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for construction projects.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and prepare regular financial reports.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
  • Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Tendering Process: Oversee the tendering process and evaluate bids from contractors.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering and groundworks.
  • Skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Office).
