Our client is a well-established leader in the fire safety industry, specializing in the design and installation of high-quality fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their team, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of fire protection installation projects, from tendering through to final accounts.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for fire safety system installations.
  • Oversee contracts, ensuring all financial and project deliverables are met.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, resolving any issues and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Manage risk, control costs, and deliver comprehensive financial reports throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in construction or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects; experience in fire protection is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, cost control, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on precision and financial accuracy.
