About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit-out projects to join our team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a key role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all cost-related aspects of projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Conduct valuations and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project expenditure and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with cost variations and claims.
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms.
  • Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) is desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
