About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit-out projects to join our team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a key role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all cost-related aspects of projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Conduct valuations and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Assess and manage risks associated with cost variations and claims.
- Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) is desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
