Our client, a reputable and dynamic consultancy established in 2003, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in Liverpool. Over the past two decades, the company has developed into an innovative team of specialists focused on the design, maintenance, and management of built environments.

With significant recent growth-including the launch of two additional offices-this is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to engage in diverse projects across education, ecclesiastical, and commercial sectors. The Liverpool office currently has a team of 25 professionals managing an expanding workload, offering great potential for career advancement, including progression into a future Head of Quantity Surveying role.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor in consultancy or client-side roles, with expertise in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview:

  • Preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and accurate cost estimates for varied projects

  • Conducting valuations, preparing interim payment applications, and final account management
  • Collaborating closely with design and project teams to develop cost-effective solutions
  • Advising on contract administration and resolving contractual or financial queries

Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within consultancy or client-side environments
  • Ability to commute to Liverpool as required
  • Preferred but not essential: experience with education or high-rise residential projects
  • MRICS qualified or actively working towards accreditation (beneficial but not essential)
