Position: M&E Quantity Surveyor

Salary: 55,000 - 70,000 + benefits

Our client is a leading specialist in the M&E sector, renowned for delivering top-quality mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing company.

About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
  • Oversee risk, value management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contracts, financials, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on project progress.
  • Ensure cost efficiency and adherence to client requirements through collaboration with project teams.
  • Support post-tender activities, including contract negotiation and value engineering.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and associated costs.
  • Experience managing contracts, including NEC and JCT agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard estimating and cost management software.
