Location: Ford Halewood Transmissions LtdHours: Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:30 | Friday 07:00-12:30Contract: PermanentSalary: £62,953.73 (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days-25 vacation + 8 bank holidays)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Logistics Engineer, you'll be the bridge between suppliers, engineers, and internal systems-ensuring all changes are implemented seamlessly, efficiently, and on time. You'll also support audits, service planning, and future launches, making this a vital and varied role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing supplier part changes via CMMS & WERS systems
  • Overseeing functional builds and part timing with suppliers and engineers
  • Maintaining and updating BoMs (Bill of Materials)
  • Attending critical product and health check meetings
  • Leading service analysis, planning, and customer liaison
  • Supporting audits, inventory, customs, and broader supply chain initiatives
What You'll Need:
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • Strong computer skills-proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Office apps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience reading engineering drawings (essential)
  • BOM management and change control experience (essential)
  • WERS and CMMS experience (preferred)
  • A proven team player mindset
