Kenny Recruit are working with a national accommodation provider to find a Property Manager on a permanent basis. Our client has a high volume of properties, your role will be to maintain the high level of service on offer whilst ensuring the tenants problems are resolved, the properties are compliant and any maintenance issues are dealt with efficiently. This is an office based role but you will also need to visit the properties to check tenants in and out of the properties. You will work with a maintenance team as well as an our of hours service and liaise with the lettings team to ensure rent is paid on time.

Pay: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Location: Liverpool - 5 days per week in the office

Working hours:8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside maintenance department to ensure properties are kept up to standard. Dealing with maintenance emergencies, required quoted works, planned maintenance.
  • Ensure the properties are compliant. This includes fire, gas and electric safety.
  • Managing a large portfolio of properties; quarterly maintenance inspections, dealing with tenant and guarantor queries, identifying asset improvements.
  • Ensuring the on boarding of new properties from the development team is seamless.
  • Checking in and checking out of tenants.
  • Improve processes so they are more efficient.
  • Maximise the use of the management information system.
  • Property and tenant administration; dealing with council tax, assisting the operations team with utilities.
  • General office administration in relation to managing the properties, including managing key audits and other tasks

Requirements:

  • You must be extremely organised and accurate with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience of compliance or general knowledge would be desirable.
  • Ideally working in property management.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team - good communication skills are vital.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Be a self-starter who can hit the ground running.
  • Confident and approachable
