This role is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of recruitment and workforce planning across the organisation. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional recruitment skills, adhere to safer recruitment practices, and support the engagement and retention of both permanent and internal Bank staff, who play a pivotal role in our services.This position requires someone who shares our values of Strength, Humility, Respect, Empathy, and Kindness, embodying them in every aspect of their work.Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support safer recruitment processes in collaboration with Managers and HR.
- Research and propose new initiatives to meet resourcing needs.
- Ensure compliance to minimise risks associated with recruitment and employment practices.
- Assist with candidate attraction strategies and lead assessment days in line with organisational values.
- Develop and deliver induction training for new and existing Bank staff.
- Provide leadership and supervision to Bank staff with respect and professionalism.
- Gather feedback through supervisions, focus groups, and exit interviews to enhance the staff experience.
- Monitor the effectiveness of Bank staff placements and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with Managers to manage staffing needs, including the use of an in-house overtime app to ensure service coverage.
- Collect and analyse workforce data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Maintain accurate Bank staff records, ensuring completion of all administrative tasks (e.g., DBS checks, right-to-work documentation).
- Build relationships with universities, colleges, and community organisations to attract a diverse workforce and enhance the organisation's profile.
- Work with the HR team to develop and refine recruitment and retention policies.
