The Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Account Coordinator to join their EU Trailers Department. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, liaising with hauliers, freight forwarders, and customers to coordinate the smooth movement of goods across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange collections and deliveries in line with arrival and sailing schedules
- Liaise with hauliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries
- Track cargo and maintain clear stock visibility with the team
- Manage documentation related to stock and deliveries
- Handle UK and potentially EU customs clearance
- Prepare and issue daily and weekly operational reports
- Negotiate competitive rates with transport partners
- Ensure all departmental deadlines are met
- Collaborate with colleagues for seamless customer service
- Create and send customer invoices

The Ideal Candidate:
They're looking for someone who thrives in logistics and is passionate about delivering excellent service. About you:
- 2+ years of experience in European Road Freight
- Background in freight forwarding or distribution
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Confident using computers and systems (training provided)
- Knowledge of customs clearance and EU documentation desirable
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willing to learn and grow within the role
