The School and Role

A well-established and inclusive secondary school near Woolton, Liverpool, is seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology, to join their dynamic team, delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. This full-time position begins in January 2025 and will run through July 2025, with the potential to extend into the new academic year. Founded in 1842, this Catholic school boasts a rich tradition of academic excellence and is on an exciting path of rapid improvement. Known for its strong support network for both staff and students, the school provides a nurturing and collaborative environment. Experience teaching Design and Technology up to KS4 is essential.

Requirements

The desired Design and Technology Teacher will have;

-          Have experience teaching Design and Technology, particularly Food Technology, at KS3 and KS4

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
