The School and Role
A large and welcoming secondary school in West Derby, Liverpool is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced History Teacher to join their established team, teaching KS3 and KS4. This full-time role starts immediately and will continue until at least Easter 2025, with the possibility of extension until the end of the academic year. This school was established in 1922 and provides a broad and enlightening education to children from the ages of 11 to 18. The school prides themselves on their academic and pastoral success believing their staff and students are equally cared for. This school was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection and was commended for their cohesive work between different departments so students can make cross subjects links.
Requirements
The desired History Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
- Hold QTS in the UK
- Confidence in teaching the current curriculum
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
