Full-time Science teacher, Sefton Hays Education are working with a mixed secondary school who are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher to teach science full-time starting January 2025 on a permanent contract between KS3 and KS4. This high school is rated "Good" on their latest Ofsted inspection with students showing "positive attitudes to their learning" and which "creates a calm environment" throughout the school day. We work closely with this school to provide day to day staffing needs, long-term supply and permanent placements. Hays has become well-respected and a market leader in many areas through a constant focus on providing outstanding customer service to both teachers and schools. Your new roleYou will be supporting the Science department by teaching Physics, Biology and Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 full-time. In order to be a full-time science teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manor. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills, as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
