The School and Role

This large, welcoming secondary school based in West Derby, Liverpool is looking to appoint a strong Science Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting immediately and will be ongoing until at least January 2025 with a view of being extended to July 2025.  The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to KS4. This highly successful school was established in 1922. Its modern and state of the art facilities are extensively used by students in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and clubs. The school prides themselves on their academic and pastoral success believing their staff and students are equally cared for. This school was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection and was commended for their cohesive work between different departments so students can make cross subjects links.

Requirements

The desired Science Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
