About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and engage students in productive learning.
  • Adapt to different school environments and build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Support student learning and development, ensuring all pupils are included and can participate fully.
  • Mark and assess work where required, ensuring smooth handovers with regular teaching staff.
About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Has experience teaching in secondary schools across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
  • Is flexible, reliable, and able to quickly adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Has strong communication skills and classroom management abilities.
  • Is passionate about making a positive impact on students’ education.
Requirements:
  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • An enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process if needed).
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for working with young people.
