About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons, both in small groups and one-on-one.
  • Help students with their learning, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support the emotional well-being of students.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with extra-curricular activities and school events as required.
About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, caring, and passionate about working with young people.
  • Has strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Is adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Is committed to supporting the educational and personal development of all students.
  • Has experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential).
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school environment.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required (we can assist with this process).
