Are you passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey? Do you want to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students in the classroom, working alongside teachers to enhance learning
- Assisting students with their academic and personal development
- Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions where necessary
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervising students during break times and assisting with general school duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
- A passion for working with young people and a commitment to supporting their education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
- An understanding of safeguarding practices in schools
