Our client, a leading organisation in Liverpool, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accommodation Service Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a supported accommodation home, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing exceptional care. If you have experience in children or adult residential support, and a strong knowledge of supported accommodation regulations, we want to hear from you!

Salary: 43-47k per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for people to develop their independence
  • Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training
  • Deliver individualised support tailored to each person's needs
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders to support people's educational and employment goals
  • Manage budgets and ensure efficient staffing structures and rotas
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure the safety of people and staff

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within residential support
  • Strong knowledge of supported accommodation regulations and quality standards
  • Experience with regulatory inspections (CQC/Ofsted)
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding and promoting people's well-being
  • Ability to build rapport and establish professional relationships with external organisations
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving
