About the Role
We are seeking a professional team leader to join this leading group as Care Home Manager (Nursing). If you have a proven track record in delivering high-quality care and bring strong business acumen and marketing skills, this is a varied and rewarding role. You’ll be given the autonomy to guide the home towards an Outstanding CQC rating, with the support of your dedicated team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of our Care Home Manager:
• Provide leadership and direction to the team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a skilled team of care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
• Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent care standards.
• Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Oversee all administrative tasks to ensure timely and efficient record-keeping.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.

Skills and Attributes for Care Home Manager:
• Experience managing a nursing home (5 years plus).
• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of achieving Outstanding ratings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
• Proven track record in marketing and business within the private care sector, with experience running a commercially successful care home.
• Passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
• Ability to actively contribute to the growth and development of the care service.

Education and Qualifications:
• NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
