Prospero are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker within the Merseyside area. This flexible, part-time role offers 1-4-hour days of work per week, making it ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in the community while balancing other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to families and young people, helping them navigate challenges.
  • Assist families in accessing local resources and services.
  • Respite care within the community.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement family support plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and families at all times.
  • Supervising family contact sessions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 years UK based experience within the health & social care sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
  • Child and Adult DBS - on the update service
