The School and Role

A large and well-established secondary school near Wavertree, Liverpool is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support for students across KS3 and KS4 who require additional assistance. This role involves working closely with teachers to adapt learning materials, deliver one-to-one and small-group support, and help students access the curriculum effectively. The position is full-time, starting after Easter 2025, and will be ongoing, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

The desired Learning Support Assistant will have;

-          Experience working with secondary school-aged students

-          Experience supporting students with SEND or additional learning needs

-          A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with young people

-          Strong communication and teamwork skills

-          A passion for supporting student development and inclusion

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
