Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join the CYP Crisis Response Team at Knowsley Resource and Recovery Centre. This role requires an experienced mental health nurse or practitioner who will play a critical role in delivering mental health services for children and young people (CYP) in crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health assessments, intervention, and crisis management.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Offer support to patients, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to care planning and risk assessment in line with service standards.
  • Liaise with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in crisis response or inpatient mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rota.
