Liverpool City Council is looking for a passionate Youth Worker to join our Targeted Services for Young People team. If you have experience in youth work and a commitment to making a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and deliver tailored programs for young people, both individually and in groups.
- Represent young people's views and ensure their needs are met in service delivery.
- Assess and deliver interventions based on young people's needs and work with families for integration into mainstream services.
- Collaborate with statutory and voluntary partners to create positive opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records using the electronic recording system (e.g., Mosaic).
- Promote equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practices.
- Support recruitment, training, and supervision of part-time staff and volunteers.

Essential:
- A nationally recognised Youth and Community Qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young people and delivering group/individual programs.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with young people, including those displaying challenging behaviour.
