We're recruiting for an exciting Locum Social Work Opportunity in a busy and supportive Looked After Children's Team in the Liverpool area.

Responsibilities:

  • Looked After Children caseload
  • Complete all Looked After Children statutory requirements
  • Complete single assessments and ensure that care plans are completed and young people's needs are met
  • Manage a complex caseload and engage in direct work with children, young people, parents, carers and multi-agency partners
  • Deliver holistic packages of care and support for children in care are provided

To be considered for the Social Worker role, ideally you will have:

  • 1-3 years' experience of working within children's social work
  • A Diploma/Degree in Social Work
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Evidence of working with a complex caseload within a 'Looked After Children' team or similar
