Pure are recruiting for a well-established company in Colchester, seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As part of our commitment to ensuring smooth operations, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to oversee payroll processing and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
This role will be supporting the payroll team and being a deputy to the payroll manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll for a large number of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up to date.
- Calculate and administer statutory payments, including sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and holiday pay.
- Process new starters, leavers, and changes to employee details.
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and tax regulations.
- Deal with payroll queries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Prepare reports and provide payroll data as requested.
- Support with audits, ensuring all documentation and payroll records are correctly maintained.
