We're seeking an experienced Housing Officer in Liverpool for a minimum of 3 months, with hourly rates up to £22.50 per hour! This is a full-time, hybrid role, working 37 hours per week. Your new role

  • Responsible for housing & tenancy management across your patch including general needs and independent living/extra care tenancies
  • Attending new tenant visits, sign ups and inductions as well as carrying out annual tenancy reviews to ensure properties are well-maintained and no additional support needs are required by customers
  • Managing low level ASB and tenancy breaches including compliance, hoarding and property condition
  • Encouraging customer engagement and providing a visible presence within the community, responding to any general enquiries or feedback from customers
  • Partnership and multi agency working with external agencies and stakeholders within the community

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation and principles of housing & tenancy management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vulnerable individuals
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle
