We're looking to recruit a Housing Officer in Liverpool on a 3 month full-time temporary contract, with hybrid working and hourly rates up to £21.50 per hour.

You'll be responsible for a patch of approx 500 properties across the Liverpool region, so access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance is essential for the role. Your new role

  • Providing a visible presence within communities, being a key contact for customers and providing support with any housing or tenancy related matters.
  • Completing visits to new tenants to ensure they're settled into their homes and completing annual visits to existing customers to ensure properties are being maintained in line with tenancy agreements, identifying support needs, repair issues or any other changes to the household
  • Managing low level arrears, implementing payment plans where appropriate and providing advice & support to customers on how to sustain their tenancy
  • Managing cases of anti-social behaviour, nuisance and other tenancy breaches, carrying out investigations through to resolution to prevent escalation and ensure appropriate resolutions
  • Carrying out viewings and signups with new customers
  • Responding to general enquiries or complaints from customers

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a Housing Officer role or delivering housing & tenancy management functions in a similar role
  • Good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation and best practice
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and face-to-face customer service skills
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
