We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Independent Living Scheme Manager on an ongoing basis with temp to perm potential in the coming months. This is a full-time, 35-hour per-week contract with hourly rates of up to £18.94 per hour.

You will be splitting your week between two allocated schemes in Liverpool and may be required to cover other schemes in the region to support colleagues, so a driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential for the role.

Your new role

  • Allocations, lettings, signups and viewings
  • Ensuring schemes comply with health & safety legislation and good practice - responsible for risk assessments, and reporting, recording and managing all incidents through to resolution
  • Delivering key tenancy and housing management tasks, including tenancy enforcement and investigating all ASB incidents through to resolution
  • Maintaining on-site presence, identifying any housing management or customer wellbeing concerns
  • Maintaining a positive climate for resident engagement, including arranging, promoting, supporting and leading at customer meetings
  • Listening and responding to feedback, general queries and informal complaints in line with timescales and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • Good knowledge and understanding of housing management legislation and principles of housing & tenancy management
  • Experience in a housing management role, ideally having worked within Older People's services
  • Ability to work alone and organise workload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS check (update service beneficial, but new checks can be carried out)
