We are seeking an experienced Scheme Manager to support our client, a well-established housing association, on an ongoing, temporary basis with hourly rates up to £19ph.

You will be based at one of their Retirement Living Schemes for residents aged 55+, overseeing the day-to-day housing management and supporting residents to sustain their tenancies & remain living independently. This is a 35 hour per week role, based on site Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Your new role

  • Morning check in calls to vulnerable residents
  • Routine health & safety compliance checks including fire doors and alarms
  • Updating and reviewing relevant risk assessments
  • Responding to queries or complaints from customers, family members or stakeholders
  • Providing basic advice & support with welfare and housing benefits
  • Assisting with logging repairs and chasing outstanding work
  • Void management, arrears management and low level ASB management

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of providing housing/tenancy management within a similar environment, working with vulnerable people, preferably elderly
  • Good basic knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits system
  • Good understanding of the principles of housing & tenancy management
